Welcome Address by Dr. ‘Segun Olorunyomi (FNCS) PAIDeF Director of Conference and Events

It is with a great honor that I welcome you all to the inauguration of this noble association of Practical Artificial Intelligence Development Foundation (PAIDeF) under the umbrella body of Nigeria Computer Society.

This gathering is a special one with various stakeholders on ground to witness the occasion, our main objectives are to Exchange knowledge by Sharing insights, research findings, and best practices related to AI and emerging technologies, Collaborative Projects in Exploring joint initiatives, hackathons, and workshops that promote AI literacy and practical applications, Talent Development by Facilitating internships, mentorship programs, and skill-building opportunities for aspiring AI professionals, and Ethical AI Advocacy through Collaborating on responsible AI practices, data privacy, and transparency.

This inauguration is historic as River State is hosting NCS and at the same time launching of the special group at such a time. For this occasion, series of events are highlighted to make our coming together a memorable.

It is expected that this group will profoundly reshape the economic landscape of our nation, and will definitively spark innovations and foster creative solutions in field such as agriculture, medicine, transportation, finance, education, and so on.

We have included the following tracks to provide a broad insight and perspectives to this inauguration, a keynote speech, inaugural lecture, swearing in of brand-new executive, induction of foundation members, panel session and many more.

This inauguration ceremony promises to be very colorful. We enjoy all to maximize various opportunities, networking and innovative ideas that will come out from this gathering.
