Dr. OLORUNYOMI Segun Omotayo, started his early education at St. Peter’s Primary school Ikole Ekiti, in 1981 and completed it in 1987. In 1988, having completed Primary School Education, the young Segun proceeded to Christ School, Ado Ekiti and earned the West African School certificate in 1993.

Due to his brilliant academic records and the burning desire for higher education, He proceeded to Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, in the school of Applied Science & obtained HND Computer Science with Upper Credit. He proceeded to The Federal University of Technology Akure where He bagged Post Graduate Diploma, Master of Technology and PHD in computer science in 2015 with specialization in Computer Architecture and embedded systems, His quest in the field of Computing lead Him to Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti in 2021, where He is Studying PHD in Cyber Security.

Started his career in Ekiti State Civil service and rose to the rank of Chief Database administrator where he works as Data Centre manager (SIFMIS) and currently working as a Director in Ministry of Health and Human Development, Ekiti State.

He had served in the Ekiti State Civil Service in diverse capacities with commitment, dedication, transparency and integrity. Dr. Olorunyomi is well experienced and professional of repute. He belonged to the various professional bodies’; a fellow of Institute of Management Consultant (FIMC), fellow and PHD(Honoris) from Institute of Leadership Manpower & Management(ILMMP), Fellow of the Centre for productivity (FCP), Council Member Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) , Fellow of Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), NEC Member Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Member Internet Society of Nigeria (ISON), President Nigeria Information Technology professionals in Civil and Public Service (NITPCS), IPP Ekiti State Chapter of NCS and the Chief Executive Officer of Divine Treasure Farm and Agro Allied Limited.
