Gambo Abdullahi Shehu is a seasoned professional in the field of information technology and public administration, with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Born on January 5, 1972, in Bauchi State, Nigeria, Gambo has built a formidable career marked by significant academic and professional achievements. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, adding to his educational background that includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Agriculture, Makurdi, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Gambo\’s professional journey is distinguished by various leadership roles, particularly in the Bauchi State Internal Revenue Service, where he has held key positions such as Director General of the Bureau for ICT, Coordinating Director of Admin and Support Services, and Director of ICT Procurement & Process Modernization. His expertise is further recognized through his involvement in numerous high-level committees and projects, including serving as the Project Manager for the implementation of the Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS) in Bauchi State, a project that positioned the state as a leader in tax administration in Nigeria.

In addition to his administrative roles, Gambo has acquired several professional certifications from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Kennedy School, Cisco Networking Academy, and various Oracle training programs. His technical skills encompass a wide range of IT competencies, including network engineering, software development, and systems administration.

Gambo is also actively involved in professional bodies, being a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI), a member of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), and the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), among others.
